LADY ZINNIA'S INC.

Our organization, Lady Zinnia’s Inc. is a nonprofit that centers on the needs of single women and teen girls. The goal is to help to sustainably employ them by fulfilling untraditional need gaps (the proper clothing for interviews, uniforms, shoes, etc.). Additionally, we will assist them in finding resources for utility bills and other related support services. Unfortunately, women deal with the depression that stems from domestic abuse and is compounded by financial abuse. Many times, men who are perpetrators of domestic abuse isolate women they know have no one else to turn to and no other resources. The Lady Zinnia’s Inc. was inspired by lived experience. People need to know how to deal with people with domestic abuse because if you don’t you may push them deeper into secrecy and you may never know what’s going on with them until its too late.

The mission of Lady Zinnia’s Inc. is to form a support system for single-mothers and teen girls in Minnesota, creating a sisterhood.

What Is T.A.F.S?

Through T.A.F.S(Teens Aiming For Success), we provide a wide range of resources, mentorship programs, and educational initiatives tailored specifically to the needs and aspirations of teen girls. Our organization aims to address the unique challenges they face in today’s world, such as self-esteem issues, peer pressure, societal expectations, and limited opportunities for personal and academic growth.

One of the core aspects of our organization is mentorship. We connect teen girls with successful women from various fields who can guide and inspire them to dream big, set goals, and develop the necessary skills to achieve their ambitions. We firmly believe that positive role models play a pivotal role in shaping the mindset and confidence of young individuals, enabling them to overcome obstacles and reach their full potential.

Education

At our organization, we are dedicated to empowering teenage girls through the provision of exceptional education. Our commitment to quality extends beyond academics as we strive to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. With a carefully crafted curriculum, we focus on developing critical thinking, creativity, and leadership skills in our students.
